I'm especially excited to read with my hometown New Orleans friend, Brad Richard.
Brad Richard chairs the creative writing program at Lusher Charter School in New Orleans. 2015 Louisiana Artist of the Year, and poetry winner in the 2002 Poets & Writers Writers Exchange competition, Brad is the author of three collections of poems, Habitations, Motion Studies (winner of the 2010 Washington Prize) and Butcher’s Sugar, and two chapbooks, The Men in the Dark and Curtain Optional.
W. Joe Hoppe’s books include a collection of short stories, Harmon Place (1991) from Primal Press, a poetry collection, Galvanized (2007), from Dalton Publishing, and a second poetry collection, Diamond Plate (2012), from Obsolete Press.
* A note on parking: Parking is currently a little challenging due to nearby construction. If parking is unavailable in the store parking lot, please use residential streets. Or, for evening events, you can park at Breed Hardware, 718 W. 29th Street, when they're closed (they close at 7pm Monday - Friday, and at 6pm on Saturdays). And if you park in our lot, please watch out for potholes! *
